Introduction to the World Integrity Organization (WIO)

1. The World Integrity Organization (WIO) is an international non-governmental organization specializing in rights protection services and promoting the integrity of governments and government officials. It was established in Hong Kong, China in March 2004, and is now headquartered in the United States and Canada. It is a member of the World Credit Organization (WCO). The World Integrity Organization (WIO) is independent of any national government, is not affiliated with any national government, and has no official or semi-official background in any country. To ensure its independence, it does not accept donations or any financial assistance from any government, parastatal organizations and state-owned enterprises.

In order to avoid the public misunderstanding about our background, the World Integrity Organization (WIO) hereby reminds: We do not have any governmental or quasi-governmental background in China, nor any governmental or quasi-governmental background in any other country. And, in order to ensure our independence, we do not seek support from any government or quasi-government. We are registered in the United States and Canada, which only means that we are protected by the legal systems of the United States and Canada and that we exist legally. Because anyone can register an non-governmental organization in the United States or Canada, this does not mean that we have a governmental or quasi-governmental background in the United States or Canada. In addition, we do not have strong financial resources. Our advantages are only: the scientific nature, universality, fairness and impartiality of our ICE8000 standards, as well as our pursuit and compliance with universal human values for many years.

6. History of the World Integrity Organization (WIO).

(1) In March 2004, the International Credibility Enterprise Association (ICEA) was established in Hong Kong, primarily to assist businesses and individuals in combating government abuses of power. Our earliest history can be traced back to November 2002, under the full name of the Beijing Huashuang Economic Research Institute Rights Protection Center.

(2) In January 2012, the International Credibility Enterprise Association (ICEA) merged with the International Credit Evaluation and Supervision Association (ICASA) to form the World Credit Organization (WCO). The original staff of the International Credibility Enterprise Association became the Senior Rights Protection Department (SRPP) of the World Credit Organization, still responsible for governmental integrity issues and combating government abuses of power.

(3) In June 2020, with the approval of the World Credit Organization (WCO), the Senior Rights Protection Department (SRPP) once again became independent, forming the World Integrity Organization (WIO) and establishing its global headquarters in Delaware, USA. At the same time, to ensure cooperation and prevent division, the World Credit Organization (WCO) and the World Integrity Organization (WIO) signed a contract, guaranteeing that both parties could operate independently while cooperating.

(4) In February 2021, the World Integrity Organization (WIO) established its global second headquarters in Canada.

(5) In January 2024, the global headquarters of the World Integrity Organization (WIO) relocated to Washington DC, USA.
